This policy explains what personal information DUABOR (duabor.com) collects when you browse or buy from us, why we collect it, and the choices you have. DUABOR is run from Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, and we handle personal data in line with the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.
What we collect
- Order details: your first name, last name and email address when you check out, plus the products you bought, the amount paid and the order date.
- Messages you send us: anything you write to us through the contact form or by email.
- Newsletter sign-ups: your email address, only if you choose to subscribe.
- Basic technical data: your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected through cookies and our hosting provider.
What we do not collect
We never see or store your card number, bank PIN or banking password. Payments are processed directly by our payment partners, Flutterwave and Paystack, under their own security standards and privacy policies.
Why we use your information
- To process your payment and deliver your digital product.
- To send your receipt, download link and order updates.
- To answer support requests and process refunds.
- To send newsletters, only if you subscribed. Every newsletter has an unsubscribe option.
- To measure how our ads perform and improve our website.
Cookies and advertising
Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working and to remember your session during checkout. We also use the Meta Pixel to measure visits and purchases that come from our Facebook and Instagram ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram account settings.
Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with the services that run our store: our payment partners (Flutterwave and Paystack), our website host (Hostinger), and Meta for ad measurement. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting, tax and legal purposes. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe. Support messages are kept for as long as they are useful for resolving your request.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. To make a request, email support@duabor.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
